About me
Hi, I’m a UX/UI designer based in Vienna with a background in retail in companies like Metro Markets and Spar AG, where I got to deal with 9000 till 25000 products, and worked in different positions from a cashier to a store manager.

I value customers and give them the first priority, which motivates me in creating user-centric design solutions. I was always working as a member of a team starting from 5 members till 120 members with main focus on the quality of their job performance and collaboration among team members. As a leader of a team succeeded in being on the top chart of the sales among all the company’s stores, and also as a member of a 5 person team was able to prepare a store of 12000 products for re-opening in a week.

Being organized and looking into details was always part of my job, especially when it came to audit orders and control incoming products.

I needed to expand the borders of my experience, and reach the customers in a different aspect of the commercial business. I’m also looking forward to offer solutions that tickles the core of the user’s problems and bring more quality to their experience. I’m ready to make a difference in an innovative team that places the user experience of its clients at the forefront of its mission.

I’m always looking forward to expand my experience range especially in the commercial field, learn new skills and work in a collaborative team. I’m currently available for a full time job in Vienna or remotely.

Beside my passion for UX/UI design, I'm also a nature lover and a thalassophile.

More about me
I'll share with you in previous about myself; I was born in Alexandria, Egypt in September, 1984. In my school years there the main language was English, and I loved subjects like science and literature. Afterwards I started my university studies in Alexandria university, and I was fascinated about Economics, the economic theory, econometrics and micro and macro economics in general.
I then started to work in retail in Metro Markets, and worked in many cities and stores. I was promoted many times in a short time, and landed at last as a store manager for the first store in Sharm El Sheikh.
I have a part of my family, who lives in Austria, and as they visited me in Egypt they encouraged me to apply and complete my studies in Austria. And after a short time of preparation I traveled to Austria in Jan, 2009.
I was in the beginning dependent on my family, and started to learn German. It took me the first year to reach the level B2 in German, and I started in the second year with my subjects in the WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien).
I was planning for a career change, when I found out about UX design. Since then I started to read articles and watch videos about what UX & UI design is, and the difference between both. I've to say I was fascinated, and started my bootcamp in Careerfoundry beside work. A journey that I enjoyed every part of, and here I'm here to represent myself as a UX/UI designer.
